This workshop features a 45” square foundation pieced project from Quiltworx. It was designed exclusively for ECQFE using the Stella Maris mixer Series by Tammy Gardner. The required kit will be completely cut and ready to sew using the fabrics featured on the pattern cover. Participants will be introduced to the basics of organizing and preparing a Quiltworx project and will be taught paper piecing and quilt assembly techniques.

The Eye of the Cathedral Pillow

Ruler work quilting isn’t just for the long arm quilters anymore! Learn to use rulers to quilt on your domestic sewing machine. This can be the answer for those who are not yet pleased with their free motion skills. You will be quilting one large block using basic rulers and interesting designs.

Spicy Spiral Table Runner

This table runner uses the 10 degree wedge ruler and eight different fat quarters using different color ranges and values. Participants will learn how to set up the fabrics for cutting and stitching the table runner top and then putting it together with batting and a backing. This requires following directions closely and piecing accurately.
